UNB’s Dr. Mohsen Mohammadi Will Head The New MAMCE

Officials say a new $5-million research centre announced at Fredericton’s University of New Brunswick campus on Thursday will be a world leader in developing 3D metal printing for the shipbuilding industry.

The Marine Additive Manufacturing Centre of Excellence is the first of its kind in Canada and one of only a few in the world to combine research, commercialization, and workforce development and training in this field, director Mohsen Mohammadi said.
