Two NBIF startups nominated for KIRA Awards

Fredericton (April 13, 2012) –The KIRA Organizing Committee is pleased to announce that the 2012 KIRA Finalists have been selected.

“We are extremely excited this year to host the 14th Annual KIRA Awards in the Fredericton Convention Centre once again” said Co-chair Colleen Benson “With the knowledge industry playing such an important role in our daily lives and the economic health of our province, it is important to step back and recognize the amazing talent we have in New Brunswick”.

“The KIRA Awards have flourished over the last 14 years because of our growing need for technology solutions” commented Co-chair Alan Gray “This year our keynote speaker Jim Carroll is one of the world's leading international futurists, trends and innovation experts, with a client list that ranges from Northrop Grumman to Johnson & Johnson, the Swiss Innovation Forum to the National Australia Bank; the Walt Disney Organization to NASA, and we can’t wait to hear his talk focused on our innovation!”
