A GAME-CHANGER FOR OUR BUSINESS

We do not have a Research and Development department as a small business, but we needed this expertise to grow. We partnered with CCNB Innovation’s Agriculture, Bioprocess, Beverage, and Environment Division in Grand Falls, who are rock stars in the craft beer/distilling industry. They helped us streamline our production processes, stabilize our product, and select the right equipment to scale up production and expand our distillery. We invested $18,240 in research and development and NBIF invested $72,960. We were able to develop five new products that differentiated us from our competition and increased our market share in Atlantic Canada – and the revenues are multiplying as a result.
