Breakthru’s Smart Castle provides cyber security for young and old

As society becomes increasingly plugged into the electronic world, children are being exposed to the Internet earlier and earlier.
With cyberbullying and cybercrime on the rise, online safety is on the mind of every parent, guardian and teacher.
A hardware device, called DrawBridge, being developed by members of Smart Castle Labs will help protect children by filtering content they receive through their browser and apps, said Smart Castle Labs team leader Elaheh Biglar.
“The main focus of DrawBridge is for kids and seniors who are over 65,” said Biglar in a phone interview.
