A one-time award to kick-start the applied research programs of new permanent faculty and researchers at New Brunswick institutions. Attracting the right talent is imperative for all organizations focused on innovation, and today, the competition for that talent is global. Our Startup Award funding is for hiring outstanding professors and researchers and investing in some of the resources they need to succeed. Most grants range from $25,000-$50,000 and go towards purchasing infrastructure to kick-start the applied research program.
Formal funding requests can be submitted below from a research organization or the official research services department of a New Brunswick research institute, community college, or university
