NBIF invests $50K in Chick Pick: Tech Startup Graduates from Energia Ventures Accelerator

Chick Pick, the innovative tech startup revolutionizing chick sorting for poultry farms, has graduated from the Energia Ventures Accelerator 10th Cohort, backed by a $50,000 investment from NBIF.

Led by founders Ryan Whitney and Frederik Pare, Chick Pick uses machine learning and automated technology to streamline chick sorting processes, significantly reducing labor costs for hatcheries. Their solution, born from a final year engineering project at the University of New Brunswick, boasts a 94% accuracy rate in its computer vision model and is already making waves with a pilot project at Maritime Hatchery.

Congratulations to Chick Pick on their well-deserved success!
