NBIF is partnering with Net Zero Atlantic for the second year to offer the Emerging Concepts and Technologies (ECT) Program in New Brunswick, supporting technology development to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in hard-to-abate sectors.
Objective: Accelerate the transition of emerging technologies from the lab to the market, filling gaps in carbon reduction for challenging sectors to achieve net-zero by 2050.
Focus Areas:
– Development of novel, early-stage technologies in New Brunswick.
– Assessment of technologies from other regions for applicability in New Brunswick.
Goal: Fund New Brunswick research and innovation to advance promising clean technologies and solutions for further incubation.
Eligibility: Open to researchers at NB research institutions and private companies.
