New Brunswick’s own MedReddie has secured an impressive $782,000 in an oversubscribed pre-seed round. Backed by $50,000 from the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation; investments from BDC’s Thrive Lab, The Firehood, Forum Ventures, Angel Investors, and government grants. This funding will power their expansion across Canada, the US, and beyond, focusing on product and team growth.

Under the visionary leadership of Founder and CEO Kara LeBlanc, Saint John-based MedReddie is transforming healthcare procurement. Their AI-powered platform simplifies medical technology evaluation and purchasing, saving time and resources for healthcare professionals.

MedReddie is poised to disrupt the $6.6B global procurement software market, expected to double by 2026. With ongoing trials and partnerships with Medtech Canada and key US hospital systems, they’re making waves. This year, Kara and MedReddie were one of only three Canadian startups selected for Google’s North American Women Founders accelerator and won the Elevate Festival’s inaugural Women + Pitch Prize!

Congratulations to Kara LeBlanc and the entire MedReddie team on this incredible milestone! We are excited to support your mission to revolutionize healthcare procurement and enhance patient care.
