Climative, a company specializing in AI-driven solutions to create low-carbon plans for buildings, has closed a significant seed round, backed by a $200,000 investment from NBIF. This funding will enhance their data platform and support their US expansion, bringing them closer to their goal of accelerating building decarbonization globally.

Led by founders Keelen Gagnon, Lionel Fernandes, Asif Hasan, and CEO Winston Morton, Climative is revolutionizing building emissions reduction. They have been accepted into Greentown Labs Boston, the world’s largest climate tech incubator, and the Cleantech Open Northeast / NECEC, one of the top cleantech accelerators in the US.

Moreover, their novel machine learning model creates low-carbon plans 100x cheaper, 300x faster, and with 9x more homeowner engagement than traditional methods. So far, they’ve assessed over 5 million homes in 682 cities, identifying 55 megatonnes of CO2 savings.

Congratulations to Climative on these remarkable milestones and for your continued efforts to address climate change!
